The admin panel required one MySQL database, if you are not sure if your hosting comes with ability to install MySQL databases (most do), then contact your host and make sure. The database is absolutely necessary to make the admin panel run. If you do not know how to install a database, we can install, test, configure your database for $40.
The admin panel comes standard in every cart, it has never been easier to add, remove, edit products in your flashcart. There is no need to involve yourself with complicated code as the AS3 flashcarts are designer friendly. We are going to show you some of the key aspects to the admin panel to give you an idea what drives the flashcart.

Plug and Play Merchant Control
The cart is designed to give the buyer a choice between Paypal and Credit card upon checkout. This method is truly the best of both worlds. No sense in limiting the purchasing options to just Paypal or credit card, so we added both modules in at the same time. Since Paypal is always a default option, you will have to choose either Authorize.net or 2checkout as your credit card processor.
You could also just choose to make it a Paypal or a credit card only cart. The choice is entirely up to you, but to maximize sales we recommend you run both Paypal and credit card. On a recent test, we found that 60-70% of people online are using a credit card.
Once you sign up with one of them, simply input the info into the admin panel "merchant details" section

Unique secure downloads was our #1 request and we listened. Our new carts are a self running ecommerce machine that sends out products that you mark as autodownload, autodownload. There is no sending out electronic media such as music, software, videos, etc manually unless you direct the cart otherwise. You can also set a max time limit to download a product.
*Security Note:
Autodownload works when approved credit card, paypal transactions take place. The majority of sales are approved instantly and the autodownload is activated. There are exceptions though, fraud for example where the credit card processors places a hold on a transaction will disable the autodownload feature. Online checks is another example of a transaction that will disable the autodownload feature as online checks could very well bounce.
Any items purchased that did not pass merchant approval will disable the autodownload feature. You must then contact the customer and/or send the product manually. This standard security is to protect you from potential online fraud. |
