I am very new to Flash as you can tell from the question. I can replace the photos that are on the templete already but can't figure out how to put new photos in the blank galleries.

Make sure you browse the flash library for the proper movieclip that holds all the images. You can import the images directly using File>Import, or you can replace current images by right clicking on the thumbnail in the library
